Karen has worked in in the veterinary industry and at Horseshoe Lake for over 13 years. Her favorite thing about working for Horseshoe Lake is "knowing we have staff members that will gladly go over and above for their patients and owners". She is the proud parent of 5 dogs and 2 cats. She is often caught walking around with her Chihuahua, Chili, and Pomerian, Tucker, inside her purse, or in their stroller!
Scott likes working at Horseshoe Lake because of the opportunities it gives him to gain experience in the veterinary field. Scott is an aspiring veterinarian and we are all keeping our fingers crossed that he gets into vet school soon! Scott has worked at Horseshoe Lake since 2005 and has 2 cats named Simba, and Nevaeh, a.k.a. the attack cat.
Kelly is Mom to 3 dogs, Tennessee (pictured), Apple and Duke, as well as 1 kitty named Scooter. Kelly is often woken up at 6 am by Scooter attacking the shower doors. She enjoys walking with Tennessee and Duke. She has worked at Horseshoe Lake since 2003 and loves getting to know clients and their pets.
Christina loves working at Horseshoe Lake because of all the great friends that she has made. She has been with us for almost 7 years. She has 5 dogs, and a cat. She loves to be outdoors with her dogs, she especially loves to take them swimming and hiking through trails.
Jenny has been with us for 4 years, but has been in the veterinary field for 8 years. She has 3 dogs, Harley, a Shepard mix, Dolce a shih tzu, and Dallas a rottweiler.
Jenna she has been working with animals for over 8 years. She is the proud owner of 3 dogs, 5 snakes, 7 tarantulas, and 3 lizards.
Amy has many years in animal care. Amy has worked for the Metro East Humane Society and brings a wealth of knowledge to our hospital.
Jessicca is Mom to Lucas (her human baby) with another on the way, 3 dogs (Gypsy, Mac, Ozzie Kamakaze) and 3 cats (ChiChi, Rebel and Splash). The pets have welcomed Lucas with open paws and love to play with him. Gypsy even thinks that he is her own puppy and is very protective!
Crystal has recently joined our team as a technician. She has been in the veterinary field for 8 years. She has 4 dogs, 2 cats. a tortise, and a reptile.
